Which Vacuum Cleaner Should I Buy?
Choosing the right vacuum cleaner is an important decision. Having the right vacuum and knowing how to use it properly can take much of the work out of cleaning your home. Powerful suction is something everyone wants, but the ease of use is just as important. You can have the most powerful vacuum, but you may find that you cannot do your cleaning correctly if it is too heavy or too noisy. The right vacuum will result in a cleaner home.
Do you have a lot of carpet?
Different styles of carpet can require a different type of vacuum. An aggressive vacuum will do an excellent job of cleaning a plush carpet but can cause damage to a Berber carpet. Some types of carpets are very good at hiding dirt. It can be challenging to see if your vacuum removes the sand and grit from deep within your carpet. Upright
An upright vacuum cleaner’s primary purpose is to strictly clean carpets. Over the past few years, many changes have been made to make the upright more versatile. On some models of uprights, you now have the option to turn off your brush roll so that you can clean bare floors, such as laminate, tile or hardwood. Most uprights come with a hose and attachments as well. The passions include a dusting brush, upholstery brush and a crevice tool to get into corners.
A significant downside with uprights is that it may be troublesome to vacuum your stairs or get around and under furniture. If your household is mainly carpeted with little to no stairs, an upright vacuum cleaner would be a perfect choice for you.
Cordless

A feature of a canister vacuum is that it comes with a bare floor brush that has soft bristles on it. It’s better to use on your bare floors because it dusts them and picks the dirt up.
Canister vacuums also come with attachments such as the dusting brush, upholstery tool and crevice tool. Higher-end canisters come equipped with rubber wheels not to scratch your hardwood floors while you vacuum. A canister vacuum makes vacuuming stairs easier because most are designed to sit on your stairs while you vacuum. Simplicity Brio Canister Vacuum

Specialty Vacuums
Specialty vacuums include carpet extractors (also known as shampooers), broom vacs, hand vacs and bare floor cleaners. Pets can leave an odour in your carpet’s fibres that cause allergies and attract dust mites. The only way to get those odours out is to clean with a carpet shampooer. An electric or rechargeable broom vac is nice to pull out if you have some crumbs or dust but don’t feel the need to vacuum the entire house. A hand vac is perfect for doing your stairs, couches or a vehicle and is also available with or without a brush roll. Bare floor cleaners are made to replace your mop and bucket. Instead of mopping with old muddy water, a bare floor cleaner sprays cleaning solution onto the floor. It picks up the dirty water, allowing you to clean without recycling your dirty water. The cleaning solution will disinfect the floor and dries immediately, leaving you with a shiny floor.
